Depuis 2005, Michaela écrit pour Danstidningen, le principal journal de danse des pays scandinave, ainsi que d’autres blogs culturels. Elle travaille actuellement sur deux publications : un livre qui retrace les quinze ans du Festival international de la Marionnette, mené par son père, le marionnettiste et metteur en scène Michael Meschke. Cet événement a marqué plusieurs générations d’habitants de l’ile d’Hydra ainsi que des artistes grecques et internationaux. Elle est également en train de préparer un livre avec tous ses textes théâtraux, écrits pour les créations de la Compagnie Moveo. Le poète Bruno Lomenech la propose d’illustrer son recueil de poésie : Le départ aura lieu dans quelques instants, paru à l’automne 2023.

 

Since 2005, Michaela has been contributing to Danstidningen, a widely read magazine about dance and theatre in Scandinavia, and other cultural blogs. She is currently working on two projects: a book about the international theatre festival on the Greek island of Hydra over fifteen years, created by her father, the puppeteer and director Michael Meschke. She is also preparing a book with all her theatrical texts, written for the performances of Compagnie Moveo. Michaela was asked by French poet Bruno Lomenech to illustrate his book Le départ aura lieu dans quelques instants (2023).
